Raffle Licenses

A raffle license is required for all raffles conducted within the Village of Lisle. The raffle license fee is $10.

Raffle licenses will only be issued to bona fide religious, charitable, labor, fraternal, educational or veterans' organizations that operate without profit to their members and which have been in existence continuously for a period of 5 years immediately before applying for such license.

The entire net proceeds of any raffle must be exclusively devoted to the lawful purposes of the organization permitted to conduct the raffle. No one may receive any profit for participating in the management or operation of the raffle.

No one under the age of 18 years may participate in the conduct of raffles or the selling of chances.

Retail Value of Prizes
The aggregate retail value of all prizes awarded in a single raffle should not exceed $250,000. The maximum price that may be charged for each raffle chance should not exceed $200. The maximum number of days during which chances may be issued or sold shall not exceed 6 months.

Raffles licenses for less than these dollar amounts may be approved or denied by Customer Service.
