Lisle Library District is located at 777 Front Street. The LLD contains a rich collection of materials, resources, technology and digital content. The library is continually evolving to meet the dynamic needs of patrons and serves as a place to research, study, experience cultural programming and gather/collaborate as a community.
Online Catalog and Materials
The Lisle Library's circulating collection includes books (hardbound, paperback, large print), e-readers, audiobooks, music CDs, feature film and television series videos, computer games, and more. The library’s catalog is available 24/7.
English as a Second Language
The Lisle Library District also sponsors English as a Second Language classes for adults who need to learn or improve their English skills. In addition, there are classes and programs for the public on a wide range of topics every month.
Book and Film Discussion Groups
LLD hosts six different monthly discussion groups to cater to a wide variety of literature and genre fiction. There’s a group for everyone!

LLD is committed to providing quality programs for kids, teens, and adults. Year-around programs provide a diverse offering of literary, cultural, educational, and entertaining programs to appeal to a brand range of interest.
One of the Library’s missions is to enhance your library experience through art and culture. Gallery 777 serves as an avenue for the respectful presentation of artistic and imaginative talents within our diverse community. Gallery 777 is located near the atrium on the first floor and allows patrons the chance to enjoy the works of local artists with exhibits rotating every two months.
LLD provides a range of educational and entertaining digital platforms for your reading, listening, viewing, and research purposes. These platforms include eBooks, audiobooks, music, video, eMagazines, animated book for kids, and databases.
The Library offers a myriad of services including WiFi Printing, My Next Book reading suggestions, Home Delivery Services, interlibrary loan, meeting room availability, and computers with high speed internet. We also provide low vision materials and assistive technology which includes, large print materials, audiobooks, illuminated and hand held magnifiers, a taking book service, large print keyboards, high definition PC monitors, no-glare floor lamp, and a trackball mouse.
LLD Seed Library
LLD was one of the first public libraries in Illinois to lend open-pollinated, heirloom seeds to the public. The LLD Seed Library is a project to strengthen biodiversity in our community and encourage the discussion of local food systems and sharing resources. Seeds are available for checkout at the Connection Desk.
