Adopt a Lisle Veteran's Grave for Christmas

Volunteers will place fresh evergreen wreaths at each grave of one of the 84 veterans who served in conflicts dating back to the War of 1812.  
Opening ceremony will include the Pledge of Allegiance led by Boy Scout Troop 507, and a blessing of the wreaths by Father Gabriel Baltes, O.S.B., of St. Joan of Arc Parish. 

A donation of $20 is being accepted from the public per grave to help defray the cost of wreaths and stands.  Visit www.LisleHeritageSociety.org to contribute.

This initiative is a partnership between the Lisle Heritage Society, Lisle VFW Post 5696, St. Joan of Arc Knights of Columbus Council 15168, Downers Grove VFW Post 503 Auxiliary, and Lisle Woman’s Club.
