It’s #PublicServiceRecognitionWeek! At a meeting held on Monday night, Mayor Pecak proclaimed this week as Public Service Recognition Week in the Village of Lisle. The Village is proud to join in the national celebration of the individuals that support our country, and is grateful for its hard-working employees. Without the contributions of these dedicated public servants, the Village could not accomplish its mission of delivering excellent municipal services that enhances the quality of life for the community. Public Service Recognition Week has been celebrated during the first week of May since 1985 to honor the people who serve our nation as federal, state, county, local and tribal government employees.
