The Village’s annual Community Clean Up Day will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2022. On this day, residents of single-family homes will have the opportunity to dispose of an unlimited amount of refuse and household debris by placing it curbside for pick up. Customers that have a subscription cart program do not have to use refuse stickers to participate. Those not participating in a subscription cart program must affix stickers to the first five items set out for disposal. Additional items put out for collection with the first five stickered items do not need to be stickered. Items for collection on Community Clean Up Day can be placed at the curb after the regular pick up that will take place on Wednesday, October 5th. Please consider recycling, donating or listing items on an online marketplace before putting them at the curb.
Community Clean-Up Day occurs at the conclusion of National Fire Prevention Week, which seeks to raise awareness around fire safety.
