The Village’s proposed Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget, which begins May 1, 2023 is now available for review. As a financial planning document, the proposed Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget allocates resources to address objectives set forth in the Village’s 2022-2025 Strategic Plan, provides for continued high quality municipal services, and invests in the Village’s infrastructure. This includes funding for a variety of capital infrastructure projects related to maintaining Village roadways, water, sewer and stormwater systems. The proposed budget reinforces the Village’s commitment to long-term fiscal stewardship, operational efficiency, strategic investments, and serves as a financial roadmap to help guide operational decision-making for the Village.
New this year, the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget is presented in a completely online-based format via the Village’s recently-implemented OpenGov enterprise resource planning software. This makes Lisle the first community in Illinois to present its budget in this innovative manner.
A public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023.
