This week, the Village’ contractor began storm sewer construction activities on Division Street between Main Street and Columbia Avenue, as part of the Village Center North stormwater project. This project serves as an investment in Lisle’s critical infrastructure, strategically positioning the Village for the future. Funds for this project are provided by the Village’s portion of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and grant assistance in the amount of $500,000 through @DuPage County. This project is an outgrowth of the Village’s proactive planning efforts completed through the adoption of the 2020 Stormwater Master Plan which provides a plan to construct projects designed to aid in residential stormwater drainage.
