The Visitor Center is home to The Gingko Restaurant, with dramatic floor to ceiling windows overlooking scenic Meadow Lake. Browse in the Gift Shop to find unique nature inspired gifts.
The stunning 4-acre Children’s Garden is a magical, interactive nature playground on multiple levels, which contains 10 themed gardens which feed the imagination, learning, and respect for nature.
This award winning garden was developed by child education specialists, landscape architects, horticulturalists, and exhibit designers, and is geared toward youngsters ages 2 through 10.
The Maze Garden contains an acre of winding paths featuring 2,400 hedges designed to provide an enjoyable natural experience.
A 12-foot high look-out platform built around a 60-foot tall sycamore tree provides visitors with a birds-eye view to watch family and friends navigate the maze. The clever design includes a series of gates throughout the maze which allows staff to change the configuration of the maze to challenge repeat visitors.
